Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data Wavify collects, why, and how it's handled. Wavify is a personal music streaming app — we keep data collection to the minimum needed to run your account.

Information we collect

When you use Wavify, we collect:

  • Account information — your email address, and (if you sign in with Google) the basic profile details Google shares, such as your name and profile picture.
  • Library data — the songs you add, playlists you create, and tracks you like, so we can show them back to you.
  • Listening activity — your recently played tracks, used to power your home screen and recommendations.
  • Preferences — settings such as volume, shuffle, and repeat, stored locally in your browser.

How we use your information

  • To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
  • To save and sync your library, playlists, and listening history across sessions.
  • To generate AI-powered recommendations when you ask for them.
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the app.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not show advertising.

Music playback & YouTube

Wavify plays audio sourced from YouTube. When you play a track, your browser may communicate directly with YouTube/Google services, which are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Wavify is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.

How your data is stored

Account and library data is stored using Supabase, our database and authentication provider. Authentication is handled via secure session cookies. Some preferences are stored only in your browser's local storage and never leave your device.

Third-party services

Wavify relies on a small number of trusted providers to function:

  • Supabase — authentication and database.
  • Google — optional sign-in and YouTube playback.

Your rights

You can view and edit your library and playlists at any time from within the app. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us using the details below — we'll process verified requests promptly.
